The temptation and danger were real, but Angel was ultimately spared from addiction, incarceration, and potentially much worse consequences.
For him, that wasn’t coincidence.
It was God’s grace.
Eventually, Angel began transforming his life. He rose above the environment and circumstances that had once surrounded him, met the woman who would become his wife, built a family, and eventually reconciled with the Lord.
The experiences that could have destroyed his future instead became part of the testimony he now carries into his music.
A Lifelong Love for Music
Although Angel is relatively new to the music industry, his connection with music goes back decades.
As a child, he was fascinated by different genres and eras of music. He appreciated the ability of a song to create an emotional response, transport someone into another place, or communicate something that ordinary conversation sometimes couldn’t.
His musical interests have never been limited to one particular sound.
In fact, Angel recalls being 17 years old and driving around while blasting 1950s and 1960s oldies from his car — a reflection of the wide-ranging musical influences that helped shape his appreciation for music.
Creating music was something he had dreamed about for years. Eventually, that dream became an opportunity to combine his love for music with his faith.
Today, Angel Alberto uses that opportunity to praise and glorify God.

Losing a Mentor, Finding the Strength to Continue
One of the most difficult moments in Angel’s music journey came when he lost his good friend and brother in Christ, who also served as his music producer and mentor.
The loss had a profound impact on Angel.
He stepped away from music for approximately eight months and came close to leaving the industry altogether. The passion he had developed for creating music became difficult to separate from the grief of losing someone who had played such an important role in his journey.
Prayer and the support of those around him eventually helped Angel find his way forward.
One of the most meaningful ways he honored his friend was by releasing a song dedicated to his memory.
What initially became a reason to walk away from music ultimately became part of the reason Angel returned to it.
