Emerging from the massive creative hub of Mexico City (CDMX), independent rapper and visual artist DAEMETER is crafting more than just music—he’s building an entire world through sound and imagery.
How it all started
Born Ean, DAEMETER blends misanthropic emotion, layered metaphors, and experimental energy to create a style that stands apart from the traditional sound coming out of his region. His influences range from melodic rap innovators like Trippie Redd, Lil Uzi Vert, Ken Carson, and Fetty Wap, but the final result is uniquely his own.
Turning Pain Into Art
DAEMETER’s journey into music began as a collaborative project with a close friend who first introduced him to creating songs. When that partnership eventually ended, he was left with a choice—stop or keep going alone.
He chose to keep going.
What started as a passion for making music slowly evolved into something deeper.
“Everything started from the love I acquired for making music, making something I can be proud of. Later it turned into a way of detoxification where I can freely speak my mind.”
His music channels darker emotional themes, using self-written metaphors and vivid imagery to construct a universe listeners can step into and interpret in their own way.
Creating Without Limits
DAEMETER isn’t just a musician. He’s also a sculptor and illustrator, and that multidisciplinary background shapes how he approaches his artistry.
Instead of relying on teams or outside creatives, he’s learned to do nearly everything himself—from mixing and mastering his music to designing cover art, building his visual identity, and promoting his releases independently.
That self-sufficient mindset hasn’t come without sacrifice. He admits that chasing his dream has cost him relationships and required intense dedication, but it’s also allowed him to maintain full creative control over his vision.
Breaking Through Language Barriers
One of the biggest obstacles DAEMETER faces is building an audience within his own country.
The style of music he creates isn’t widely established in Mexico’s mainstream scene, and performing or releasing music in English adds another challenge.
Instead of seeing this as a limitation, he’s taken a global approach—sharing his music online and connecting with listeners worldwide.
The Funny Mixtape Trilogy
Currently, DAEMETER is focused on completing a three-part project titled THE FUNNY MIXTAPE trilogy.
The series acts as a timeline of his artistic growth, documenting how his sound evolves from project to project.
The final installment, THE FUNNY MIXTAPE 3, will serve as the culmination of everything he has learned so far and lay the groundwork for what comes next.
Following that, he plans to release his first EP, DeadWalks.

Right now, DAEMETER is promoting his latest single, “Compression Rings,” while continuing to build a fanbase that will support the next phase of his career.
