FOREVA: TURNING LIFE’S GRIND INTO MUSIC, PURPOSE, AND SOUL
From Mobile, Alabama’s 251, Foreva is stepping into music on his own terms. Representing YNS (Young N Sturdy), Foreva describes himself not simply as an artist, but as a Renaissance man — someone driven by creativity, discipline, faith, physical activity, and a desire to create something meaningful while he has the opportunity.
His journey into music has been unconventional. Long before preparing to release his first official single, Foreva was learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and self-expression.
THE 9-TO-5 GRIND STARTED EARLY
Foreva’s work ethic was established during his freshman year at Williamson High School, when he began working for the Mobile Press-Register in 2011 and continued working throughout high school.
While many teenagers were able to dedicate themselves completely to organized sports, Foreva often had to balance athletics with employment and responsibility. His schedule even created challenges with some of his coaches.
“I remember my basketball coach saying some of us need to keep our day jobs,” Foreva recalls.
Despite those obstacles, he continued finding ways to stay involved in athletics, eventually playing soccer and running track at B.C. Rain High School while maintaining his work commitments.
Today, that same discipline remains a major part of his lifestyle. Foreva says he exercises and plays sports nearly seven days a week. Interestingly, despite his athletic interests, he says he hasn’t actually watched sports in years.
THE FREESTYLES THAT STARTED IT ALL
Foreva’s relationship with writing began much earlier than his upcoming debut.
He started writing in middle school after transitioning from Mae Eanes Middle School to Calloway in eighth grade. It was there, during gym class, that he encountered other students freestyling.
That environment immediately sparked something in him.
Foreva began writing his own material and would go into gym class and rap, gradually discovering that music could become another form of self-expression.
His introduction to songwriting was also influenced by his mother, who was a songwriter herself. Music and creativity were part of the household, with Foreva remembering his mother having all of the children in the front room rapping.
That early exposure helped plant the foundation for the artist he would eventually become.
A WRITER BEFORE HE WAS A RECORDING ARTIST
Although Foreva has never officially released music, writing has always been a natural ability for him.
Throughout elementary school and high school, he consistently received strong grades on writing assessments. Even before music became a serious pursuit, he was developing the ability to put thoughts, experiences, and ideas into words.
Eventually, however, life took him in other directions.
Foreva stepped away from writing for approximately four years. Then, last year, something changed.
The music started coming back to him — effortlessly.
Rather than forcing the creative process, he found himself naturally writing again. The ideas kept arriving, and eventually, simply writing wasn’t enough. He wanted to bring those ideas into the studio and hear them come to life.
LEARNING TO TRUST THE PROCESS
For Foreva, one of the biggest challenges isn’t necessarily the creative process itself. It’s learning patience.
His greatest obstacle has been waiting, trusting God’s timing, and allowing things to develop naturally rather than trying to force them.
That perspective is especially important because Foreva never originally imagined pursuing music for decades.
In fact, his initial vision was surprisingly simple: create music for a few years and leave the world with a few albums.
But as the songs continued coming to him, the purpose behind the music became clearer.
MUSIC AS FUEL FOR THE SOUL
Foreva isn’t interested in making music simply for entertainment.
His goal is to create music that glorifies God, fuels the soul, and helps ground chaotic energy.
That distinction is central to how he views himself.
“I’m not an entertainer,” Foreva says. “I’m a true artist/Renaissance man.”
The Renaissance-man mentality extends beyond music. Foreva has always enjoyed drawing and creating art, giving him another outlet for his imagination and reinforcing the idea that his creativity isn’t confined to one medium.
His music, therefore, represents another chapter in a much larger creative identity.
FROM NEVER-RELEASED MUSIC TO AN OFFICIAL DEBUT
After years of writing privately and a four-year break from the craft, Foreva is finally preparing to introduce his music to the public.
His first official single, “Turbulence,” is scheduled for release in September 2026.
The song will also serve as an introduction to his upcoming EP, Lyrical Notes, expected this winter.
The project is planned to contain approximately six songs and will be a solo effort, giving listeners a focused introduction to Foreva’s writing, perspective, faith, and artistic identity.
For someone who once thought he might only make music for a few years, this first release represents more than simply dropping a song. It is the beginning of bringing years of thoughts, experiences, and creativity into the world.

As a representative of YNS — Young N Sturdy, Foreva embodies a philosophy shaped by perseverance.
From working as a teenager and sacrificing opportunities to remain responsible, to discovering songwriting through gym-class freestyles, to stepping away from music and eventually finding his way back, his story has consistently revolved around continuing forward.
Now, with “Turbulence” preparing to introduce him officially and Lyrical Notes on the horizon, Foreva is allowing the next chapter to unfold without trying to rush it.
His journey isn’t built around chasing a moment.
It’s about trusting the timing, creating honestly, glorifying God, and leaving behind something meaningful.
Foreva may be new to the official music scene, but the artist has been developing for years. Now, he’s finally ready to let the world hear the notes.
