From Moreno Valley to the Masses: Rising Artist Getta Aims to Bring “Full Circle” Moments to Music

Emerging from the heart of Moreno Valley, California, artist Getta, born Mark Roseman, is carving a path in music rooted in authenticity, resilience, and vision. With a sound that carries weight and a message that uplifts, Getta is determined to create more than just music—he’s building moments that bring life full circle.
The journey of Getta
Getta’s story is one of quiet strength and personal transformation. “I make music about how life can feel like a full circle moment,” he explains. “Sometimes you’re at the bottom trying to reach the top, but you’re still shaping yourself through adversity and trying to hold on to the vision of where you’re going.” This deep sense of purpose is woven into every track he makes—without a single curse word.
How his music resonates with others
In a world where explicit lyrics often dominate the charts, Getta stands out. His clean, introspective music is made to resonate with a wide audience—from kids to adults—allowing anyone to find clarity in their struggles through his art. “I want people to hear my music and feel like someone finally understands what they’re going through,” he says. “No matter your age or background, there’s something in it for you.”
How music helped Getta come out
What sparked his journey into music was more personal than professional. “I used to feel like I couldn’t really talk about my problems with people,” he shares. “But when I got on a beat, my thoughts came clear. It felt like it was just me, the beat, and my heart in the room.” That raw honesty now drives every verse he writes.
While Getta doesn’t yet have major releases under his belt, he’s focused on building the foundation the right way—financially preparing to invest in top-tier production and collaborate with notable producers. “I just want to work with people who can help me make the music I hear in my head,” he says. “And I want them to say, ‘Yo, this is fire.’”
Trials and tribulations
Still, the road hasn’t been without challenges. Learning to silence the noise and stop creating just to please others has been a major breakthrough. “Not everybody is going to support your music. I had to learn to make what I think is hard and stop worrying about who’s going to like it,” he admits. “That mindset shift helped me break through writer’s block and enjoy the process again.”
For Getta, the dream isn’t just about fame or fortune. “Forget the money, forget the fame—I want to help people through what they’re going through, especially when they don’t have anyone to talk to,” he says. His long-term goal? Selling out iconic venues like SoFi Stadium, USC’s Galen Center, and The Forum—places where he once worked, now reimagined as stages for his sound. “That’s full circle for real,” he says with a smile.
What’s next for Getta
Currently, Getta is focused on promoting his upcoming project, appropriately titled “Full Circle.” With plans to build an organic fanbase and keep dropping impactful music, he’s focused not just on numbers but on connection. “I don’t really know the perfect formula for going viral,” he laughs. “I’m just trying to let the music speak and build something real.”
With heart, purpose, and a voice all his own, Getta is more than an artist to watch—he’s one to feel.
