Lookin4ThaKidd: A Wildcard with a Mic and No Interest in Playing It Safe

At just 21 years old, Lookin4ThaKidd — better known as Kiddie — is already moving like an artist who understands one thing most people never do: individuality is the real flex.

Where it all started

Originally from Seattle and currently posted up in Las Vegas as a UNLV student, Kiddie is still figuring life out in real time. Instead of pretending to have all the answers, he uses music as his outlet — a place to be honest, weird, chaotic, emotional, and free. That raw self-expression is exactly what makes his sound feel alive.

Inspirations and different genres of music

Kiddie isn’t boxed into a single genre or lane. He proudly calls himself a music weirdo, pulling inspiration from everywhere, with Young Thug’s fearless experimentation and Michael Jackson’s larger-than-life artistry sitting at the core of his influence. He’s studied rap since he was young, soaking up styles, flows, and aesthetics until they blended into something that feels like a mashup of everything he grew up loving — and nothing else out right now.

The hunger for a successful career

Although he’s been rapping since the age of 12, Kiddie only started officially releasing music in December, approaching the game with the hunger of someone who knows they’re just getting started. There are no major accolades yet — and that’s the point. This chapter is about discovery, growth, and carving out a lane that doesn’t exist yet.

Trials and tribulations

One of his biggest challenges has been embracing individuality while still searching for his own unique sound. But instead of fighting that uncertainty, Kiddie leans into it. The result is music that feels wild, unpredictable, and unapologetically him — the kind that attracts listeners who don’t want cookie-cutter artists or mainstream formulas.

What’s next

Looking ahead, Kiddie doesn’t see himself chasing clout or bending to trends. His vision is clear: become a niche artist with a strong cult fanbase — people who truly get his weirdness and ride with it. Not everyone needs to understand it. The right ones will.

Behind the scenes, credit goes to his day-one brother Ace, who pushed him to stop sitting on his talent and start dropping music. That encouragement lit the fuse, and now Kiddie’s letting the world decide how far this run goes.

For now, the mission is simple: build a following, stay authentic, and keep expressing the chaos. Lookin4ThaKidd isn’t here to be perfect — he’s here to be real.

And just like Shawn Michaels used to say…

He might not be your favorite artist yet — but he’s your artist’s favorite artist in the making.
