MACC MOVADO: THE AMETHYST ERA BEGINS

Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, MACC Movado—or as he jokes, “Ya moms’ favorite MC”—is an artist who built his sound on authenticity, grit, and unapologetic truth. To Macc, music isn’t about chasing money or clout. It’s about resonance. It’s about taking the stories you’ve lived through and offering them to the world in a way that hits people in the chest.

“I don’t give a fuck about the money outside of a certain parameter,” he says. “It’s just nice to be able to share what you’ve been through and feel that connection between music and listener. Music is fucking amazing, and it’s an honor to be part of it.”

A Story Honed on Stage & Experience

Macc’s journey has already taken him beyond his home city. He’s traveled to perform, and one of his standout moments was opening for King ISO, a milestone that pushed him deeper into his craft and solidified his hunger for the stage.

But this is only the beginning.

In the next few years, Macc sees himself eating off his career even more—expanding his audience, building a wider network of fellow creatives (and Tekken opponents), and continuing to put out music that carries the weight of lived experience.

The Artist Behind the Mic

Despite not being the most naturally social person, Macc is stepping out of his comfort zone. He knows part of this journey requires connection—conversation, community, and collaboration. He hopes his rise sparks more dialogue, not just about his own music, but about the art, stories, and struggles that shape others too.

And when it comes to collaborations? He’s ready. Macc has his eyes set on working with artists who inspired him from the beginning—names he’s been waiting years to share a track with.

What’s Next

Macc is gearing up for a major release:

The Amethyst LP — dropping February (date TBA).

Alongside that, he’s releasing a new single, “Swear,” arriving December 1st.

With raw honesty, sharp lyricism, and a perspective shaped by resilience, MACC Movado stands out in a world full of copy-paste artists. He’s here to tell his story. And he’s grateful for every opportunity to do so.
