marvx: Turning Real Life Into Records
Hailing from Salem, New Hampshire, Southern New Hampshire artist marvx isn’t chasing trends or personas—he’s documenting real life. Every song he releases comes straight from lived experience, shaped by love, loss, grief, growth, and the quiet battles that happen behind closed doors. His music isn’t about fantasy; it’s about honesty.
“I don’t make songs about made up things or situations,” marvx explains. “It’s all from me directly. From me to you.”
That raw transparency is what makes his catalog resonate. Whether he’s unpacking heartbreak, reflecting on friendships, or confronting internal struggles, marvx approaches music as a form of connection. His goal is simple but powerful: to make sure listeners know they’re not alone.
how his music career came into play
Music wasn’t always the plan. It started almost by accident—one day recording vocals over an instrumental just to see what would happen. What followed was an undeniable spark. That moment lit a fire he hadn’t felt before, and it hasn’t gone out since. Behind the scenes, family played a crucial role in pushing him toward that leap. Influenced deeply by his grandfather, his mother, his brother, and close friends, marvx credits them as the reason he ever experimented with music at all.
the start of marvx
After beginning his journey in 2016, momentum really picked up in 2024, when marvx racked up 10,000–12,000 SoundCloud views across just 7–8 songs, marking his most successful year to date. In 2025, he made the jump to major platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, signaling a new chapter in his career.
That same year, a turning point arrived when he connected with producer Project X. The collaboration proved transformative. Project X’s belief in marvx—and their creative chemistry—became the strongest musical partnership of his career so far. Every release since has been exclusively produced by Project X, giving marvx’s sound a consistent, focused identity while still leaving room for emotional range.
His growing catalog includes the Halloween EP “it’ll be there tmrw”, featuring his brothers Jwing, Louduhyungin, and chvyy, a tight-knit circle of up-and-coming artists. More recently, marvx dropped “M&M! (777+888)” alongside Margiiela888, continuing a pattern of collaboration rooted in real relationships rather than industry politics.
What’s next
Looking ahead, marvx shows no signs of slowing down. On February 6, he’s set to release “D&D”, featuring Margiiela888 and Patty C, further expanding his circle while staying grounded in his core sound.
When asked about the future, marvx keeps it honest: he sees himself still making music—because it’s what he loves. Dreams of collaborating with or meeting artists he’s looked up to fuel him, but he’s content letting the journey unfold naturally.
Ultimately, marvx wants listeners to do more than press play. He wants them to understand him.
“It’s one thing to listen to an artist,” he says. “But it’s something else entirely reading about them—their experiences, their thoughts.”
That openness is exactly what sets marvx apart. No gimmicks. No exaggeration. Just real stories, told plainly, over music that means something.
