PILOTT: Turning Cancellation Into Comeback With ANTI PILOTT

Three years ago, at just 13 years old, PILOTT lost everything he had built on YouTube overnight.

How it all started

Born Liam Vazquez in Tampa, Florida, the creator—known online simply as PILOTT—was hit with a wave of online backlash after a public conflict on Discord spiraled into an exposé video that pulled in over 30,000 views in a single day. The fallout was instant. Supporters disappeared, public perception shifted, and the young creator found himself navigating something most people twice his age wouldn’t know how to handle: being genuinely cancelled on the internet.

But instead of walking away, PILOTT decided to rebuild from the ground up.

Minor setbacks for a major comeback

“The point is, I had lost everything—and I want to show people that no matter how far gone you are, there’s always a way out,” he explains. “If you let all the negativity and fake people surrounding you go, you can get back up from any fall, no matter how hard it may be.”

Inspired early on by YouTube creators like DenisDaily and DanTDM back in 2017, PILOTT’s original love for content creation came from the freedom of simply having fun and doing whatever you wanted on camera. That same energy still shows up in his videos today—an unfiltered influence from the creators who made him want to start in the first place.

Hard work into numbers 📈

Now, after years of rebuilding, that resilience is paying off. PILOTT has grown his YouTube channel to over 15,000 subscribers and has begun building momentum in music, with nearly all of his top ten Spotify tracks surpassing 1,000 streams and approaching 3,000 monthly listeners. Much of his musical foundation came from fellow creator and friend Dotewav, who introduced him to the basics of music creation in late 2024.

Still, challenges remain—especially when it comes to promotion in an oversaturated digital landscape.

Trials and tribulations

“People get ads every day, so what’s going to randomly change their mind into wanting to listen to my song?” he asks. “You gain almost no recognition off promo. That’s why I’ve been using my YouTube to upload songs—I’ve actually gotten real feedback that way.”

Instead of chasing trends, PILOTT’s focus is on authenticity and storytelling. His goal isn’t just numbers—it’s building a genuine fanbase that connects with him for who he is, not what’s currently popular.

“I want to be able to upload anything I want and still get views,” he says. “Doing what you want is harder and the views might be lower—but those people are watching for you. That’s way more special than uploading something trending just for dopamine.”

That mindset is the driving force behind his newest project, ANTI PILOTT—a 16-track album created in just two weeks during a difficult winter. Described as an emotional outlet born from a challenging headspace, the album represents both vulnerability and defiance: a statement that setbacks don’t define the outcome.

Alongside the full release, PILOTT has also dropped a 46-minute visualizer of the entire album on YouTube, continuing his commitment to blending content creation with music in a way that feels true to his roots.

What’s next

Looking ahead, PILOTT’s ambitions stretch beyond YouTube and music. With a strong passion for skit-based content already visible on his channel, he hopes to eventually move into acting and brand partnerships—while maintaining the creative freedom that started it all.

“In a few months, I see myself with a huge fanbase,” he says confidently. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted from this—real people who support me for me.”
