“I think my biggest challenge was becoming a father and trying to juggle both fatherhood and music,” SELAH shares. “And also just going through your highs and lows while trying to find your identity and sound.” Those real-life experiences have deeply influenced his storytelling, giving his lyrics both weight and relatability.

Goals for the future
Looking toward the future, SELAH envisions growth through collaboration and connection. “I really see myself meeting successful artists and collaborating with them. And also building a brand off of my music,” he says. When asked about his dream collaboration, he doesn’t hesitate: Joey Bada$$.
