How it all started

In the early days, iigloocity was focused on the technical side of music production, learning engineering and recording through the once-popular DAW Mixcraft. With limited resources but a strong passion for creating, he built a makeshift studio in his mother’s basement.

“I made a studio in my mom’s basement with the most rudimentary equipment. I would bring groups of African Americans from my high school together to come over and make music.”
Those early experiences helped shape both his musical direction and his collaborative mindset.
As his career progressed, iigloocity began gaining opportunities to share his music publicly. Among his most notable moments were radio appearances alongside @worldwide.cubano on 107.1 college radio, where he had the chance to showcase his work and connect with a broader audience.
“The most notable accomplishments are the opportunities I’ve had since starting — being on the radio twice and being able to make music in front of people and show my talent.”

Like many independent artists, iigloocity has faced the realities of building a career in a constantly shifting music industry. Rising costs associated with promotion, music videos, recording sessions, interviews, and advertising have created significant challenges along the way.
“The biggest challenges I’ve faced while being a musician is adapting to the ever-changing economy. As the economy changes, so do the prices of everything that comes with promoting your music.”
Despite those obstacles, he’s managed to keep pushing forward through discipline, smart financial decisions, and the support of a loyal team.
“I’ve been able to overcome those challenges by being smart with my money, sacrificing big expenses I don’t need, and having a reliable team who aren’t just in it for the money.”
Looking ahead, iigloocity envisions his brand continuing to grow while inspiring listeners along the way. His goal isn’t only success for himself, but to create music that motivates others to pursue their own dreams.
“I see my brand being successful in the years to come as we keep people motivated to push through with our energized sound. My dream is to have people motivated through my music and come out to the shows and performances and have a wonderful time.”
