VIIMAHX: THE ARTIST WHO TURNED PAIN INTO PURPOSE
Brooklyn, New York’s own viimahx, also known as Max, isn’t just another artist trying to break through the noise — he’s a voice for the misunderstood. His music tells stories of neglect, drug abuse, loneliness, and insanity, but not as cries for help — rather, as proof that you can recover from anything.
The art of music
“I value art made from the soul,” viimahx says. “I don’t want to conform to anything. My goal is to make music that tells the truth — even the parts people are scared to say out loud.”
Accomplishments
Though he’s gone through different names, releases, and revisions over the years, his journey is rich with growth and experimentation. With a handful of music videos and a fruitful discography already under his belt, he’s built a world of his own through sheer persistence and passion. His evolution has been anything but linear — marked by mistakes, detours, and deep self-reflection — but those same moments now fuel his revival.
Trials and tribulations
“The biggest challenge right now is getting studio time alone. New York’s tough,” he admits. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes that slowed me down. I took advice I shouldn’t have, and sometimes I completely drifted away from music. But now I feel like I’m in recovery mode — I’ve been given another go, and I’m doing it my way this time.”
What’s next
Looking ahead, viimahx keeps his vision simple and grounded: he wants peace for the people he loves and to see his dreams finally realized. He doesn’t see himself as underground, but rather “misunderstood — invisible most of the time, but still existing and ahead of my time.”
Currently, he’s crafting a deeply personal project titled Achivuh, a 7-track EP/album exploring what it truly means to achieve in your own life. Instead of chasing validation or indulging in unhealthy coping mechanisms, Achivuh focuses on finding fulfillment through growth and self-actualization. Whether the project ends up a solo release or includes collaborations, viimahx plans to let it evolve through constant revision and raw effort — a reflection of his artistic philosophy itself.
Expected to drop early next year, Achivuh will mark a rebirth for an artist who’s faced darkness and come out seeing light again. For viimahx, it’s not about fame or hype — it’s about truth, recovery, and art that hits the soul.
