Nāstë: The Bay Area Duo Turning Bass Music Into a Movement

Emerging from the vibrant and ever-evolving electronic scene of California’s Bay Area, Nāstë is more than just a DJ duo—it’s a sonic partnership built on mentorship, experience, and relentless passion. Comprised of Rompton and Adam Ant, the Producer/DJ/Audio Engineer duo is carving out a lane rooted in heavy bass, raw energy, and years of dedication to the craft.

How it all started

Nāstë’s origin story is one of organic evolution. Adam Ant, a seasoned producer and event curator with over two decades of experience, laid the foundation long before the duo officially formed. Rompton, already immersed in the scene as a DJ and owner of a Void Sound System, crossed paths with Adam and quickly found himself under his mentorship. What began as Ableton lessons soon transformed into something much bigger—a creative partnership that would ultimately give birth to Nāstë.

Their chemistry behind the decks and in the studio translates into performances that hit with both precision and intensity. Over time, they’ve built a reputation for delivering immersive sets that resonate deeply with their audience. Among their standout moments, supporting Sota during Super Bowl weekend remains a defining experience, showcasing their ability to command a stage on a high-profile platform. Equally memorable are their festival appearances, including Northern Nights Music Festival and an especially impactful set at Camp Love A Lot—a more intimate gathering in Sonoma County that left a lasting impression on both the duo and their crowd.

Trials and tribulations

Like many independent artists pushing toward the next level, Nāstë faces the constant challenge of balance. Between personal lives, work responsibilities, and the demanding nature of consistent music production and performance, sleep often takes a backseat. Still, their drive remains unwavering. For them, the grind isn’t optional—it’s part of the mission.

What’s next

Looking ahead, Nāstë has its sights set far beyond local recognition. The goal is clear: become a globally recognized name in bass music. With ambitions to perform at major international stages like Rampage Music Festival in Europe, they are prepared to put in whatever work it takes to get there.

At its core, Nāstë is about connection—through sound, energy, and shared experience. As they continue to build their catalog and expand their reach, they invite listeners to tap in, explore their music on SoundCloud and Spotify, and become part of the journey.

With momentum building and a clear vision in place, Nāstë is not just rising—they’re positioning themselves to leave a lasting imprint on the global bass scene.
